People love their dogs and they love to talk about their four-legged friends on social media.

In a time when little is certain in the world, that’s one thing you can count on.

With the pandemic having resulted in less face-to-face interaction and increasing online engagement, online communities like Facebook Groups have provided a place for people to come together for a common purpose and interest, dog lovers included.

Look, I’ll admit, I’m one of those people.

Having owned multiple Jack Russell Terriers over the past 18 years, I’m biased. These feisty, smart, loyal and witty canines will keep you on your toes no different than an actual 3-year-old child, but they also steal your heart in the process. And make no mistake about it, most “dog people” treat their pups no different than they would their own kids.
